Policing Pledge
The Police Authority and Leicestershire Constabulary have published their Policing Pledge that identifies a series of promises made to the public about the levels of police service. A copy of the Pledge is available on this site.
The duties of Leicestershire Police Authority regarding the Pledge are to ensure that each of the promises are kept and to ensure that the Pledge is publicised both within the Constabulary and amongst the communities of Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
Leicestershire Police Authority has agreed an action plan of its own in respect of the Pledge and this can also be found on this site.
