Police Authority Consultation - 15 August 2009 Aylestone Recreation Ground
August 15th 2009, 11:00am - 4:00pm
Aylestone Road Recreation Ground opposite the Leisure Centre
Officers, staff, volunteers and supporters will be at the Saffron Summer Fete again this year. There will be a mobile police station, uniforms to try, stickers, posters and lots of information about crime reduction, the policing pledge and neighbourhood policing.
The Police and Community Support Group will have a stall near the mobile police station.
The Leicestershire Police Authority will also be there and want to know what you think about local policing. Your local member is Dr Chowdhury who will be happy to talk to you.
At the fete there will be many other stalls and activities including rides, wresting and a full stage show. Refreshments and food will be available as will information about many local agencies and groups.
Come along and meet your policing team, speak to the commander or the team leader. Tell the Police Authority how you think the local police are doing.
The fete procession starts about 10am from Samworth Enterprise Academy on Trenant Road.
It promises to be a great day out with lots to see and do for the whole family.
