Police Authority Consultation - Loughborough

Residents in Loughborough are being given a chance discuss local policing priorities with senior police officers and Police Authority members.

A public consultation meeting is being held at John Storer House, Ward End in Loughborough on Thursday 19th February 2009 at 7pm.

The meeting will give people living and working in the Loughborough area a chance to speak to officers about policing in the town and in their neighbourhood. It is an opportunity for residents to tell senior officers what they would like to see from the police and for the police to tell residents what they're doing to fight crime.

Inspector Tim McCabe, Commander of Loughborough Local Policing Unit, will be there.  He said; "Everyone is welcome to come along on the 19th to discuss any concerns or issues they may have about crime and policing in their area.  We want to hear from local people so that we can tell them what we are doing in their neighbourhood to address their concerns.  It is also a chance for residents to help shape the future priorities in Loughborough."

"Barrie Roper from the Police Authority will also be there to hear your views and we would encourage as many people as possible to come along."

If you would like to have your say please come along to John Storer House, Ward End, in Loughborough on Thursday 19th February 2009 at 7pm.
