Police Authority Consultation Meeting Melton Mowbray 10 November

November 10th 2009, 7:00pm - 8:30pm
The Working Men's Club, Norman Way, Melton Mowbray

Residents in Melton are being given a chance to discuss local policing priorities with senior police officers and Police Authority members.

A public consultation meeting is being held at the Working Men's Club, Norman Way in Melton on Tuesday 10th November 2009 at 7pm.

The meeting will give people living and working in the Melton area a chance to speak to officers about policing in the town and rural areas. It is an opportunity for residents to tell senior officers what they would like to see from the police and for the police to tell residents what they are doing to fight crime.

Inspector Nigel Peters, Commander of Melton Local Policing Unit, will be there.  He said; "Everyone is welcome to come along on the 10th to discuss concerns or issues they may have about crime and policing in their area.  We want to hear from local people so that we can tell them what we are doing in their neighbourhood and address their concerns.  It is also a chance for residents to help shape the future priorities in Melton"

Byron Rhodes from the Police Authority and Chief Superintendent Daimon Tilley North Area Commander will also be there to hear your views and we would encourage as many people as possible to come along."
