Police Authority sets 15.43% precept increase for 2008/09
On Thursday 7 February the Police Authority met at Force Headquarters, Enderby and agreed a 15.43% precept increase for 2008/09. This decision has been welcomed by the Chief Constable and allows the Force to reinstate officer and staff posts held vacant during 07/08. It will also provide for greater resources to be put into delivering neighbourhood policing, confronting organised criminality and providing effective protective services to the public. -
